Last night one of my favorite bands, The National, used Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (another favorite of mine) to debut a new song from their upcoming album. As is par for the course when performing live on a late night talk show the sound quality isn’t exactly brilliant, but the song has a certain shine anyway. Have a listen.

Terrible Love will appear on the upcoming album High Violet which is due out on May 11. If the rest of the tracks are as solid as Terrible Love we’re all in for a treat.
